Pharmacy First will launch on 31 January 2024
More information will follow but an example of what they will be able to treat patients for is :
where clinically appropriate, treatment advice about a range of common conditions and minor injuries, such as:
- aches and pains
- sore throat
- coughs
- colds
- flu
- earache
- cystitis
- skin rashes
- teething
- red eye
This will be rolled out across Cambridgeshire and Peterborough at the start of 2024
Some Pharmacies may have started doing this so please ask when you next go in.
The Surgery will promote this once we know fully who is participating as we plan on working with the pharmacists involved so can issue antibiotic’s if required in a swift manner
